Today, on Thursday 9th November, we held a special Remembrance assembly. We were lucky enough to have Lorraine, a grandparent of two of our children, join us. The children learnt lots about why we wear poppies on Remembrance day and Lorraine also shared her father, Arthur's, medals with us. We are very grateful to Lorraine for giving up her time and sharing this with us; the children thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you Lorraine! We ended both assemblies with a 1-minute silence, ending with "We will remember them" to think of and reflect on the affects and casualties of all wars.
